Handcrafted Fermented Beverages, Naturally

A naturally fermented sparkling beverage that is uniquely you! Made from yeast, water, sugar, then you add your choice of flavourings to create your custom beverage according to your own taste preferences. A refreshing beverage, with a clean taste created by you!

Whitney (of @twofoodpiggies) and her partner visited The Wine Factory in Nov. ’21 to make their own Hard Bubbles. This is the result of the whole process. Check her out on Instagram and TikTok!

Step #1

Create a sugar mixture to feed the yeast. Heat it up to make sure everything is sanitized. Add the yeast, sugar and nutrients together. The first visit takes about 30-45 minutes.

Fun Fact: The sugar is nearly completely converted to alcohol and CO2 in the fermentation process.

Step #2

Select a natural flavour or infusion then choose your sweetener and sweetness level. Take it up a notch and combine flavours like mango plus strawberry hibiscus tea.

Step #3

Each batch makes a total of 23 Litres or about 46 PET bottles (500ml) of hard seltzer for $122.10 (incl. all taxes and fees). Price including tall cans (473ml) is $126.80

Want more variety? Add $40 to split your batch and create two distinct flavours.

In just two weeks, you can bottle or can your own hard seltzer, your way! Canning/Bottling takes about an hour.
